GABA or gamma-aminobutyric acid is found in the intestine and the central nervous system and is a neurotransmitter synthesized in the brain from glutamic acid in the presence of vitamin B6. The synthesis of GABA requires several catalysts, especially B6 and magnesium, the latter being of particular importance in maintaining the level of gamma-aminobutyric acid in the body. The role of this acid is to facilitate communication between brain cells, being a neurotransmitter that modulates neurotransmission and the interconnection of all other neurons.

The principle on which neurotransmitters are based is that they function as chemical messengers, that is, they block or inhibit certain brain signals, while the activity of the nervous system decreases. Studies carried out on people who have consumed GABA as a dietary supplement have shown that it has the ability to improve relaxation, reducing states of anxiety, depression, stress, hyperkinetic disorders (Parkinson’s disease, Tourette syndrome, tardive dyskinesia), while helping to induce sleep.

Composition: capsule (860 mg): active ingredient: GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid) – 700 mg and inactive ingredients: capsule (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose), pregelatinized corn starch and colloidal silicon dioxide (anti-caking agents).

Directions for use: Adults: one capsule per day
