Rooibos tea, also known as “red tea”, is a natural drink rich in unique antioxidants, which are not found in other types of tea. These compounds contribute to neutralizing free radicals in the body, thus helping to slow down the aging process and strengthen the immune system.

Directions for use:

Internal – infusion:

Pour 250 ml of boiling water over a teaspoon of the plant. Cover the container and leave to infuse for 5–10 minutes, then strain.

It is recommended to drink 2–3 cups per day. The tea can be drunk as is or sweetened, as desired, with honey, sugar or milk.

Traditionally, in South Africa it is served with milk and sugar, but in other regions it is preferred plain or lightly sweetened.
