Therapeutic action:

It has stomachic, hypocholesterolemic, diuretic, healing and depurative effects. It is also beneficial in respiratory tract diseases, such as pharyngitis, laryngitis, tonsillitis and hoarseness.

Recommendations for use:

Internal use: used as an adjuvant in hepatobiliary diseases, with the role of a bitter and stomachic tonic. It is recommended in cases of arteriosclerosis, anorexia and hypercholesterolemia.

External use: effective in the treatment of burns, wounds and eczema.

Administration method:

Internal: prepare an infusion of 1 teaspoon of plant per 250 ml of boiling water. Cover, leave to infuse for 10 minutes, then strain. Drink 2–3 cups a day, before meals, for 21 days. A 10-day break is recommended, after which the cure can be resumed, if necessary.

Externally: prepare a concentrated infusion of 2 teaspoons of plant per 250 ml of boiling water, used in the form of compresses.
