Composition:
The young aerial parts of the basil plant (Ocimum Basilicum).
Active principles:
Basil volatile oil contains linalool, eucalyptol, eugenol, estragole, camphor, anethole, tannins and triterpene saponosides.
Properties:
Basil has antiseptic, carminative, galactogogue, antiemetic, diuretic, anti-inflammatory, antifungal and febrifuge effects.
Recent studies indicate the presence of ketone substances that support liver function, stimulating the production of enzymes essential for liver health. Drinking basil tea or using it as a spice contributes to the proper functioning of the body.
Indications:
Used internally, basil helps to:
Stimulate digestion
Reduce bloating and abdominal cramps
Combat nausea and aerophagia
Support appetite in case of anorexia
Improvement of symptoms of gastric or duodenal ulcers
Treatment of fermentation colitis and diarrhea

Directions for use:
Infusion: Add a teaspoon of the plant to 250 ml of boiling water. Cover the container and leave to infuse for 10-15 minutes, then strain. Consume lukewarm, unsweetened, 3 cups a day, between meals.
Contraindications:
Not recommended for people with allergic sensitivity to basil. Contraindicated for children under 3 years of age and pregnant women, as it may cause nausea and vomiting. It is recommended to avoid overdose.
