Halova® is a product in the form of ovules, with local therapeutic action, indicated in the therapy of wounded, atrophic or irritated vaginal mucosa.

The eggs melt evenly on the vaginal mucosa forming a cream with a moisturizing, re-epithelializing and soothing effect for the vaginal mucosa:

– Aloe vera oil – The mucopolysaccharides contained in Aloe vera maintain moisture at the site of administration and stimulate the synthesis of hyaluronic acid.

– Vitamin E – has an antioxidant role, improves the symptoms of vaginal atrophy

– Yellow extract – the terpene alcohols and terpene lactones contained inhibit the development of some pathogenic microorganisms

– Sodium hyaluronate – retains a large amount of water, ensures moisture in the vaginal tissue and can be an effective way to treat vulvovaginal discomfort without hormones.

Indications:
– vaginal dryness caused by age
– various pathologies that lead to dryness of the vaginal mucosa (vulvovaginitis)
– treatment with contraceptives

Qualitative and quantitative composition:
One egg contains: Aloe Vera oil, Calendula oficinalis extract, Vitamin E, sodium hyaluronate, semi-synthetic glycerides, anhydrous lanolin, colloidal silicon dioxide, water, xylitol.

How it is presented: Homogeneous ovules, white in color, without undissolved particles or air bubbles.

Indications: HALOVA is a medical device intended for intravaginal administration with the aim of promoting and/or accelerating the healing, re-epithelialization and/or soothing of the wounded, atrophic or irritated vaginal mucosa.

It is indicated for:
– vaginal dryness caused by age
– various pathologies that lead to dryness of the vaginal mucosa (vulvovaginitis)
– treatment with contraceptives

Doses and method of administration:
The recommended dose is one egg per day administered intravaginally, preferably in the evening, for the first 10 days, then 1 egg once every two days for 20 days. The action can last 1-2 months after which, depending on the individual estrogen profile, it may be necessary to repeat the therapy. The treatment starts on the first day after the end of menstruation.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any of the product components.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Due to the absence of sufficient clinical data, the administration of Halova eggs in pregnant women cannot be recommended. It is recommended to consult a specialist in this case. No precautions should be taken when it is used during breastfeeding.

None of the product components affect the ability to drive vehicles or use machines.

Warnings and special precautions for use
Considering the composition of the product, in general, no precautions are necessary.
Sanitize your hands and intimate area well before administering the egg.
Do not use eggs with damaged cells or traces of substance on the outside of the cells.
Do not use eggs that have an uneven appearance or that show traces of agglomerated particles.
Do not share the ovules.
