Description:
Horsetail Tea plays a role in the excretory function of the kidneys.
It helps maintain a normal urinary function, joint mobility and flexibility.
Horsetail is a plant widely used in Romanian folk medicine, and appreciated mainly for its diuretic properties, but also for its ability to relieve the pain of rheumatism and arthritis.
Effects: diuretic, eliminates uric acid, calcium and inorganic phosphorus, antiseptic, astringent, haemostatic, healing, antiacid, remineralizing.
Main Indications: calculus and renal colic, cystitis, nephritis, edema.
Other Indications:
-Internal Use: rheumatism, arthritis, gout, fractures.
-External Use: haemorrhoids, eczema, wounds.
Contraindications:
There are no known contraindications.
Preparation:
-Internal Use: make a decoction with two teaspoons of horsetail plant per cup of water.
-External Use: make a highly concentrated decoction out of 100 grams of horsetail plant per 1 litre of water.
Directions for Use:
-Internal Use: drink 2-3 tea cups a day, before meals.
-External Use: wash the infected area and apply compresses with the concentrated infusion.
