Lemon Balm Tea – Natural Relaxation and Emotional Balance
Composition:
Aerial part of the Melissa officinalis L. plant
Active principles:
Essential oil, caffeic acid, chlorogenic acid, rosmarinic acid, triterpenic acids, flavonoids, coumarins, bitter principles and mucilages.
Properties:

Therapeutic indications:
Internal – Adjuvant in:

Digestive problems of nervous origin: nausea, bloating, colic, biliary dyskinesia, gastric reflux, anorexia
Cardiac neuroses, neurovegetative dystonia, hyperthyroidism, gastroduodenal ulcer
Herpes, enterocolitis, chronic colitis
External – Applied locally:
Wounds, eczema, oral and genital herpes (infusion compresses or maceration)
Directions for use:
Internal: infusion of 1 teaspoon of plant in 250 ml of boiling water. Cover, leave for 10–15 minutes, then strain. Drink 2–3 cups a day.
External: applied in the form of infusion compresses or maceration.

None known at the recommended doses.
