Propolis is a complex beekeeping product, consisting of a natural mixture of resins, balsams and other bioactive substances. Its composition may include:

55% resins and balsams

7.5–35% wax

10% volatile oils

5% pollen

5% fatty acids

4.4–19% natural impurities

Vitamins: A, B, E, PP

Trace elements such as silver, iron, cobalt, magnesium, etc.

Propolis contains over 200 natural compounds, of which bioflavonoids are among the best known.

Concentrated propolis tincture is made to contain a reduced amount of alcohol, which allows for a lower recommended daily dose.

Administration:

Internal: 10–15 drops (on bread or sugar), 2–3 times a day, or as recommended by a specialist.

External: local application by light dabbing on the targeted area.

Composition for 100 g of propolis tincture:

Propolis – 50%

Ethyl alcohol from cereals – make up to 100%
